LEGO Pinewood Racing

We will have the Omaha - Bricks4Kidz at our event - and during the races kids are welcome to build thier own LEGO - Car and race it down a separate Track set up and run by Bricks4Kidz.

Automotive Safety Patch

Gregg Young Chevrolet, in partnership with Safe Kids Worldwide Mid America Derby, are sponsoring the Automative Safety Patch program. This fun, interactive program teaches Scouts about proper safety belt use, as well as general safety precautions in and around vehicles.

After Scouts have successfully completed all of the educational stations, they are presented with their Automative Safety Patch. While siblings & parents are encouraged to participate, only Scouts are eligible to receive the patch. Earn the Automotive Safety Patch while you are at the Mid-America Derby. The stations will be set up in the parking lot. The entire program should take between 60 and 90 minutes.
