World Record Holders of the Longest Pinewood Derby Track ever !!!
On October 15th, 2016 - The Mid America Derby was the catalyst in setting a no kidding around Guinness World Record. It is still currently the World Record and it will be hard to be beat.
With the Amazing support of Best Track (who provided the track) that the World Record was set on and is the official Track of the Mid America Derby. Along with the Mid America Council, North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters, Omaha Locals 427, 1306 & 1463, HDR, Jewkes Engineering, Derby Evolution, First Mortgage Company, Mahoney State Park Nebraska, and many others truly exemplifying what we can do as a community when we all work together. We did it, we built a track that was 1,819 feet 3 3/4 inches long and successfully ran the World Record Longest Pinewood Derby Race. We had hundreds of cars that all ran the length of the entire track making this an Epic Event and supporting Scouting
